We have two ways to finance shipping containers:

• A Rent-to-Own option with up to 48 months of payments
• A Financing option with installment payments up to 12 months

Both container financing options have very fast approval processes without hard credit checks. 

Note: Only Office containers and Refrigerator containers are eligible for rent to own at this time.

Rent-To-Own Container Purchase Process:

The process for buying a shipping container on rent-to-own terms is not much different than paying all cash. Here are the steps:

• Order an office or refridgerator container from our website
• Click on ‘Pay By Rent To Own’ button in the cart
• Complete the application
• Contact us if you have any inquiries or issues
• Once approved, we will arrange delivery

Get an estimated payment by adding containers to your cart, and you’ll see the estimated payment under the subtotal. 

* Rent-to-Own is not available in Minnesota, New Jersey, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Rent To Own FAQs

Q. Do you check my credit score?

A. Our financing company performs a soft credit check that doesn’t affect your credit score.

Q. How much down payment do I need to buy a container on rent-to-own terms?

A. The minimum down payment required is first and last month’s payment.

Q. Can I reduce the monthly payment?

A. Yes, you can reduce your monthly container payment by putting more money down upfront.

• First and last month’s rent will be taken out of extra money down first
• Remaining funds will be spread out throughout the term to reduce the monthly payment

Q. Can I pay off the container early?

A. Yes, you can pay off the container for the purchase price within the first 90 days. The future rent owed in the agreement will NOT factor into this payoff.

You may also pay off the contract balance early for a 33% discount at any time during the term. 

Q. What types of containers are eligible for rent to own?

A. Only Office containers and Refrigerator containers are eligible for rent to own at this time.

Q. Is the rent-to-own container option available in my state?

A. Rent-to-Own containers are available in all states except Minnesota, New Jersey, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Q. Is there a prepayment penalty?

A. No. There is no penalty for paying off the container before the end of the terms.
